Mohawk Contracting is serving as the general contractor for the re-development of the Heritage Building. The original single story 21,000 SF building will receive a second floor making it a 42,000 SF facility with a 30-space underground parking garage. Mohawk is self-preforming the demolition of the interior structure, and reinforcing the sub structure to withstand the weight of a second floor. The project is scheduled to be completed by the beginning of 2020, and to be followed by fit outs for Hearst Publishing Co. and other tenants.
